Overview
The Cloud Defensive MCH is a popular high output handheld light, complimentary to to the Cloud Defensive REIN 2.0 rifle light. Available in a High Candela version (“HC”) and an Every Day Carry (“EDC”) version, the heads for these lights allow you to configure the light to your taste. Further, Cloud Defensive offers 2 different sized bodies for these lights, one for the larger 18650 battery, and one for the smaller 18350 battery (“Micro”). In this quick look, we take a look at two samples of the 18350 Micro EDC version of this handheld light.

Summary
This small sample showed variance between the units. Sample 2 seems to perform within lumen and color specs, and has better CRI. Sample 1 didn’t meet any of the specifications. Regardless, these are very strong handheld lights, and I appreciate that Cloud Defensive is offering options that improve the light color temperature. Further, we know from our torture testing of the full size MCH that the lights are built strong. I would carry either of these lights without hesitation.
I hope this light will be traded in Japan!
